Can you make me some materials that will work in my original Polaroid camera (of any kind)?
One could, but that’s not my goal with this project. I don’t own a Polaroid camera, so I have nothing to test with, and I don’t want shackle myself by trying to fit film formats or chemistry to the constraints of matching a pre-existing design.
Will this work with my favourite film?
Probably, but I haven’t tested it. If you want to send me three or four boxes of film, I can test it for you.
Can you give some recipies that don’t involve such “exotic” chemicals?
My priority has been to get the best results from the prints, and sometimes that means using chemicals with long names that you can’t buy at Adorama. If you search on the Internet you’ll see some other contributors have done some work on making instant images using mashups of commercial developer and fixer products only. I haven’t tried that.
I also have an instant photography chemistry that I want to commercialize and I know there are millions of dollars waiting to make us (both) rich. Would you like to invest?
Thanks, but no thanks.
How can I get in touch with you?
